Tipping

Do you have to tip both the Maitre D and the Banquet manager? Or Just the Maitre D? Is the Maitre D and the Banquet manager the same person?

I thought the Banquet Manager was the person who takes care of the administrative stuff (money, planning the menu, etc), and the Maitre' d is the person who carries out your vision and makes sure the event goes well on the day of the wedding.

I could be wrong, though. Usually, you only tip the maitre'd.

only maitre'd, the BM gets a commission off of you booking with them.

Thanks..I only asked because I'm really unsatisfied with my BM. Of all the vendors I've booked, she's the only one whom I have issues with. I don't feel she's informative enough, and I'm constantly chasing her around. She was very concered before the contract was signed...but once it was signed... I no longer got the quality of service I got before. ugggh!
