im having a hard time with this also.
All my vendors are the owners and I dont know what to tip.
I will be tipping everyone, owner or not. I don't feel comfortable not. Limo drivers get 20%, that's part of the contract. I'm oscillating on the photo/video amounts, because I have heard that principal photog gets more than assistant, but in this case I have 2 main photogs (one being owner) and 1 assistant, so I don't know if owner gets more than his number 2 guy, and assistant less than that? And MC is supposed to get double what you give to DJ, and if they have a lighting guy too...it does get out of hand. But I said this yesterday too, don't pay too much attention to guidelines and amounts...you give what you and FH feel comfortable doing, and that's all that you can do!
thanks ladies. Honestly I am at my witts end that the dj will get one envelope for tips and they can distribute it among themselves. Same with the photographer.
