It's time for me to figure out tips for vendors. Does anyone have percentage guidlines? I have searched old posts but most just have $40..etc. But I was looking for %'s because someone may be paying $1K for video and some are paying $3K. Would you still tip the same?? I don't think so (but I could be very wrong)..Any clue?

I'm not sure that percentages will work...
my dj suggested a 20% gratuity and I was flabbergasted...no way was I going to tip him $300!! sorry...he did his job well...but sorry thats your job... (i gave $120 - for 3 people- really 2 b/c one was the owner)
for the maitred and bridal asst...we gave per head...
just think what you think a nice tip would be $5/hour...$10/hour...etc...(ie photog and video are there longer)
