Tipping at a MU trial

Do you have to tip at a makeup trial?? And if so, how much?

I didn't tip. I paid for my trial and left it at that. It was in my M-U artist's home and I felt like I paid her for the trial and I booked her on the spot, so it wasn't really necessary. If she worked in a salon, I probably would tip, but it's her own business.

Definitely tip. Around 20% is good.

You gotta think, the trial is actually more work than the day of...

Plus tipping someone at the trial = more attention to detail on the day of the event.

Just sayin.........
