Tipping at Bridgeview Yacht Club

Any fellow Brides out there that had/have their wedding at bridgeview. Need some ideas/suggestions for tips!

Maitre'd, Bridal Attendant, Banquet Manager, waiters. bartendors?

im going to have approx 185p.

I'm not a BYC bride but you should probably look at your contract to see what tips are covered. Our contract suggested $3-5 per person for MD. I think for Bridal attendant they suggest 100-200. Not sure about waiters and bartenders as this was included in our svc charge. HTH!

Friends of ours just had their wedding their last night and when it came time to tip the MD and Bridal Attendant- the money that they tried to tip them was refused. They did an awesome job and the wedding was beautiful, really catered to everyone their, esp the bridal party!

In our contract there is 400 already going to Matre d' and I'm not tipping bartenders bc they will get more than enough from all of my guests.

I'm tipping bridal attendant and probably give Kathy a little something.

Mine has the $400 going to the Maitre'd fee in the contract as well... does this mean we dont give the $3-5pp that girls on here talk about? I am confused.

Thanks for all the feedback! im looking at my contract now, and it says the service charge includes, sales staff, waitstaff, doormen, valet, bathroom attendants, bridal attendants, cleaning etc. and it has the Maitre'd fee at $2 a head.

now i know i wont have to go crazy on a high tip for the maitre'D since the fee is already included in the contract.

Since its in the contract as 'gratuity' to md no I am not tipping extra. To me I think it's an obnoxious amount to demand bc if they don't do their job properly they are still guaranteed a tip. And this was snuck into my contract without being discussed. Fh was so annoyed.

I'm tipped the night of my bridal attendant but I am makng it very clear that if md isn't up to my expectations we willNOT pay that much tip.
