Yeah, I'm a member -but they suggested at the church that I do that - no clue...honestly...that's why asking>

I THINK OURS WAS LIKE $10 -$15 per alter server
in the book the church gave us it told us a suggested amount to give to them i just cant remember if it was 10 or 15

Our deacon said we should tip them $25 each. We'll have two of them. He said typically the best man tips them..I guess once it's over??

I never heard of that either. If there's any point that you feel it's just too much, just don't do it. it's really ridiculous. nobody goes home with you at the end of the day and sees your bills or goes to your job for you.
