Tipping at Trial?
What are your thoughts on this? I almost think it is kinda ridiculous to tip for a trial. I am going back and forth on this one. Your thoughts?

I think I would tip if it was free but I am paying $50 for a trial. My Mom is coming and getting one for $25 also.
I agree with you but I actually did tip at both the hair and makeup trials. I felt more comfortable that way and both people were very appreciative of it. Just a little something but then again I also booked on the spot and that might have influenced my decision.
I'm paying 75.00 for a makeup trial on Tuesday. As much as this person makes doing makeup for weddings I;m sure she doesn't rely on tips. If I book her it will be 250.00 day off. I believe she deducts the money you pay for the trial from the final fee. I will probably tip her day of if I book her. I know Maureen Pedala does not accept tips for her free trials but on day of if you press her she'll take a tip. I plan to do all my tipping on the wedding day not for trials.
I am going to tip for the trials, I totally appreciate that they are coming all the way out to Brooklyn.
i gave small tips on trial day, but I went to them. I really don't think it is neccesary, especially if the trail is pricey and it is not applied to the day of cost.
I didnt tip for the make up trial I just figured that since I booked her on the spot, I will have a chance to tip her in the future
Cool. I like to hear everyone opinion. She is the owner of the business. If she was a worker I would tip for sure. I think I will give her a tip if I love what she did.
