Tipping band

Can anyone give me insight into what you are tipping the band? I am using Faze 4 and they are pretty expensive so I am not sure what to tip. Is $20 per person really the standard?

Tipping band - Long Island Weddings

We tipped an extra $500 but it was a holiday so we felt like we needed to give extra. I think whatever you are comfortable with is fine. Also, you may want to keep in mind if they were booked through an agency vs if you booked directly with the band. I know bands are pricey but if you booked through an agency, the agency gets a cut.
