Tipping Band Members

Tipping Band Members

What do you give them? All equal amounts, in individual envelopes? What have you / will you give per member?

We didn't tip our band. We paid a little more than $1000 per musician (we had a 13 peice band) I felt that was more than enough! The whole tipping thing is out of control. If my band was cheaper, I would have probably gave $25 each.

Whoa - if I was paying $13K for a band, I don't think I'd be tipping either.

We tipped the band leaders $50 each and the other 7 members of the band $25 each.

we were going to tip $50 per person - but my in-laws threw a lot of money on the floor so DH decided not to tip

My band is $5800 for 9 pieces. The price includes tax and gratuity. Do I still tip on top of that?

We had an envelope of $250 for 9 pieces then the person we dealt with decided to come too and sing making it 10 - He was Great and everyone said the band was amazing so we actually want to give a little more....

Go figure. The band was much cheaper than 13,000 though.
