Our DJ owns the company, so do we tip him, even though the $$ we are paying for the music is going directly to him? Also we are having a violin player for the ceremony...how much do i tip him? I might as well ask about the delivery guys who set up the flowers..how much per person also?
Thanks

That is a really good question.. Our DJ owns the company too!!! I wouldnt have thought not to tip him.. However, we are also having an MC... SO i would think we can't tip one and not the other.. But since he owns the company probably give a lil to both

Re: Tipping DJ who owns company
If the owner is working with someone else for your wedding...they dont own the company. You can have seperate envelopes, but I know when my FH DJ's with the owner, they usually split the tip anyway.
Yes... IMO if someone is doing a service for you, it is the proper thing to do.

Re: Tipping DJ who owns company
we tipped our MC who is the owner of the company. We gave our ceremony musician (a pianist) $20. we gave the flower delivery $25 (split among 2 people)
