tipping for engagement shoot & makeup?

Hiii, im having my engagement shoot tomorrow and I was wondering is it proper to tip? Of course if your happy with someones services you tip but I was wondering if a lot of you do and how much is right? I am also having my makeup done, using it as a trial. She is traveling to me and I am being charged a travel fee, would you tip and if so how much is fair? Sorry if its a silly question. I dont want to spend more money then I have to but I also dont want to insult my vendors, if that makes sense. Lol thanks in advance for all your help! :)

I have my engagement shoot next week and having my makeup done as well, I am tipping both
