Went for my 1st hair & makeup trial today...pics to come soon, but do you tip the hair/makeup ladies? I didnt and am now wondering if that was wrong of me?
Also, I went to hair waves in rocky point. there's nothing posted on them as a salon so fyi: they are very good. the makeup lady was very good!
The 'rule' for tipping is, if it's the owner of the salon or business (or if they are freelancing), there's no need to tip. If the person is an employee of the salon or business, you should tip. I generally tip the person, regardless of whether they are employer or employee - stupid, maybe, but if someone does a good job, then I think they deserve a token of appreciation!

I completely agree. I did tip both of my trial girls knowing they did a good job.

I tipped my girl (she did both hair & makeup), she spent 4 hours with us!
