Tipping Hair and Make Up Vendor

Hi ladies,

How much did you or will you tip your hairstylist and make up artist on the day of the wedding? Both my vendors work on their own or are not affiliated with a salon. Am I required to tip them the 20%?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I had the same question and I will give between $10, if they go above and beyond NOT 20%. I feel their prices account for travel and services. JMO but am open to thoughts and if I am being so tight? lol

not tipping . they charge enough and i paid for an expensive trial. do not care if that makes me cheap.

I probably ended up tipping about 10% for each service.

I didn't tip since I was the only one they came for and its alot of money.

I tipped the hair and m/u artist 20% of the total value for their services on me and my two MOH.

I am also tipping 20% as long as I am happy with the service. I also tipped the same at trials.

haha so did i ! i gave her 10 for a 40 trial.. but i think its really out of your own discretion because she did a amazing job i feel and put my in tears so i felt she deserved a extra something.

I am not tipping....they are coming to the house, so the $ they are charging is already going 100% in their pocket....and of course they are already so overpriced
