Tipping Hair and Makeup?

Tipping Hair and Makeup?

Did you tip your hair and makeup person who came to your house on the day of? If so, how much did you tip?

I am trying to figure all these tips out for tomorrow.

I usually give 20% but I guess it depends on what you can afford also...

I didn't, I couldn't imagine giving them any more then I paid-especially because I know all of that money went to them!

My hairdresser is my personal friend and she told me that when she goes to someones house for hair people don't tip b/c she is getting that money for herself rather than only keeping part of it to split with the salon. She told me the same about my makeup artist.

So to sum up the answer, you do not have to tip them if they are coming to you the day of as they are clearing all that money for themselves.

I didnt for makeup...she was the owner..hair was 65 n I gave 20

I didnt tip for hair-my aunt did it as for makeup we did tip for makeup, I think it was either 20-25 not positive, but for what was charged I felt that was more then sufficient
