I was wondering the same thing. Now that FH and I hired one, its possibly another envelope to prepare.

My DOC gave me a tipping checklist and on there it was a suggested tip of $50-$150 for each DOC.

how much does a DOC go for?


It all depends on how many hours you need them for and 1 or 2 people. The DOC i'm using is $375 for 6 hrs, $425 for 9 hours and $500 for 12 hours.

I think that is fare…even $100…doesn't a DOC already get payment from u anyway? I didn't hire one so I am not sure.

I know no one wants to be cheap but do what you can afford…I started my tip envelopes and they are adding up BIG TIME!

Agreed! I'm tipping on the mid to low end for people who are technically getting direct payment from me vs the ones who work for a company who I'm tipping on the higher end.
