hi everyone. I used to be in the catering business and I would love to explain this a little to help everyone understand. It is not unheard of to tip before- yes you want to tip based on the service you receive- but from the day that you first look at the place they tell you that it is required...... so it seems to be like this is part of the salary for these people that work so hard for you. I think that you give them the minimum before like they ask- and if you feel like you got exceptional service you can take care of those specific people the night of the wedding. In theory I love the idea- not to have to deal with any money the night of the party- is great!! and they know that you took care of them so they will go the extra mile to take care of you!
