OH man ... I thought you don't have to tip the owners because its their money regardless ... I really hope I'm not wrong here, I'm already out of $$$! haha

We're not tipping the officiants. They're charging an arm and a leg for 20 minutes worth of work.

ETA: I'm not so sure how the 20% tipping would work out with certain vendors. My friend's photography package is $6,000. There's no way she's tipping $1,200.

I tipped my makeup artist and hair stylist even though they work for themselves. I also tipped our MC even though he owns Bravura. We felt funny not tipping them. We also tipped the DOC and they own their company. It all starts to add up but it just felt like the right thing to do!

We tipped photo/video, florist, and hair/makeup even though they work for themselves. I just would've felt weird not tipping and felt that they deserved the tips.

This And our biggest tips ended up being to owners of their own companies (photo, video)

We did not tip officiants. One was our priest and one was a Rabbi. We paid him almost $1000 and every penny of that went into his pocket. No overhead. I didn't think a tip was necessary.

I had a lot of owners - hairdresser, photo, video, MC.

What I did for Photo, Video and MC was for example for the DJ it was Frank as the MC who is the owner, but there was also a DJ whose name I didn;t know, so I gave a tip envelope that said 'Thank you, Frank and staff'. I did that with the photo and video too. I let the owner decide how to divide the tips among himself and the staff. If he wants to not keep any and give it all to his staff that's cool, if he wants to split ti evenly, that's fine. if he keeps it all for himself, that;s on him
