I didn't know until after, but I think it's customary. Needless to say we did not do this and felt awful afterward!

Re: Tipping photographer for E-pics?
I would not tip - when you think about how much they charge for pictures its crazzy if you really like how they come out you can tip more at the wedding also - my guy owned the business - so i did not tip

Re: Tipping photographer for E-pics?
I felt strange to tip him. I made the payment online w/ credit card. I'm usually pretty awkward at tipping. After the pics there was no right moment to take out my vallet and give him cash. However, I really wanted to show our gratitude. Next day I sent him one of those edible arrangements with fruit and chocolate covered strawberries. Photog called me later to tell me how much he and his wife like it and how he was touched.

Re: Tipping photographer for E-pics?
I didn't because we plan on tipping for the wedding but I then sent them an edible arrangements type of thing as a thank you.

Re: Tipping photographer for E-pics?
we gave $50 but only because 1) it was his usual day off and made an exception for us and 2) he accomodated our request to take them out east at a winery and drove probably 1.5-2 hours!
