Ok so did you or are you going to tip your photographer? If so, how much?? We went to a photographer today and the owner made a reference to 'feeding and tipping' the photographer.... I understand the feeding part, but the tipping part I was kinda surprised about?! Help!!!

you def should tip your photographers. I plan on giving 50 to main photographer and around 40 for the second photographer and also 50 for the video. I am also feeding them. They are going to be with me for 10 hours so I think it would be rude not to tip and feed.

i think we're giving $100 for each photogrpaher (we have two) ... if we had an assistant photographer, we'd give them $50.

Mine says not to tip - only because it's her personal business. She had it in the FAQ of the package she gave us. But obviously we'll be paying for her food.

i ended up tipping my photographer and he is the owner of the company ... i think you should tip the photographer if he is not the owner (though in the long run i do think tipping can be ridiculous!!)

I agree if it's a personal business it's probably not necessary. But I think if you felt on the day of that they did a ridiculous good job then why not?
We intend to tip them and the associate. =)

We are not tipping our photographers, but they own the business so they are getting all the money anyway.
If you are not booked with the owner, I'd say you definitely need to tip...whatever you are paying the company, its not like the photographers will be getting all of that...they are probably paid by the hour.
