Tipping Question

If one of your vendors that you are using is the owner of the company, do you tip them on top of their fee?

For example, let's say that your DJ or your Photographer - the person who is ACTUALLY COMING to your wedding, and that person alone, no assistants, is the owner. Do you still tip?

Just curious...

Almost all of our vendors were the owners of the companies and we tipped them anyway.

We only tipped the maitra'd and bridal attendants. Everyone else was paid a handsome fee for their work. However, I did pay for them all (11) to have dinner at the reception.

I tend to tip alot less since they are already making so much profit off of you.
Same thing when I go to get my hair done... when the girl who owns it does my hair I will not tip her alot ( since she charges me WAY to much as it is) but if someone else in the shop does my hair I am much more generous ( as long as they do a great job)
