I am very confused about tipping the reception hall. My contract included a 15 to 20% gratuity, which had to be paid a few days before the wedding. i decided to pay 15% up front, which came out to a little over $3,000. I figured that I could give extra that night. Since I already gave $3,000+ is gratuity, how much do I tip the Maitre'd? Who else do you recommend that I tip at the reception hall and how much should I be tipping them? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

the maitre'd gets about $3 per person.
Also the 15-20% is more like a service charge and that only covers certain services you receive and salaries not tips so many people give tips that day to the waitstaff, valet, bartenders and so on...Its on you though, theres been many discussions about this but just letting you know.
