Tipping the band

I am having an eight piece orchestra (including the band leader). What is the customary tip? I really have no idea. I appreciate your input.

I have been researching this, and have found $25 per person. You are giving them a meal also. This is what I am doing.

I tipped $30 each member... as recommended by my DOC

We are having a jazz trio for 3 hours, does this amount work for them too? We are also feeding them.
