tipping the band?

If I had an 8 piece band I would probably give them $800. But if I were poor by the end of the wedding I would give them $400.00

Yeah. I'm poor, and they're costing several thousands of dollars and getting dinners.... man....

my band told me since they plan on eating thats all the tip they want! But i think we will give some cash as well!

tipping is not mandatory. I don't think they expect to be fed or tipped. You really have to think about this. We did both, but not everyone can afford to.

I had a 9pc band and I fed them and tipped them. We gave them $30 each.

I think you have to keep your budget in mind. Also, if you don't plan on feeding them, give them a call and tell them this way they can make alternate plans for a meal.
