Tipping the Band?

Just curious to know on what you plan on doing?

I have a 8 piece band. How much would you tip each of them, or are you? This is really were the chunk of the money is going in the first place.

we are tipping them $25 each band member.

Good to know... We were thinking about the same thing. We may give the band leader more b/c he's really going above and beyond for us. Even took us out to dinner twice when we went over stuff

I budgeted $25 per band member. We may give the band leader $50. Haven't decided yet.

lol... if i tell u girls what my band is going to get tipped u will fallout of ur seats...

u know how Greeks through $$ on people dancing??!!! ( look at pics from my e-party) Basically the reason for it is a sign of wishing welth to the couple or person dancing....

WELL..... the band keep every $$$ that touches the floor.

at an 80 person e-party the bank made close to 5k as a tip and the split that evenly.. can u imagine what they will make at a 250+ person \wedding

WELL..... the band keep every $$$ that touches the floor.

at an 80 person e-party the bank made close to 5k as a tip.

that is insane!!! do the people throwing the money know this?? cause if I knew that I was thowing money on the floor, and it was going to the band, I would be kinda miffed...is this well known in greek culture? Cause I went to a greek wedding, and my friends thought it was cool they were throwing money, so my one friend was so drunk he started throwing his credit cards on the floor...

That's awesome!! I'll use the new mini Vac at I got at my shower!! haha..

Yea I'm not worrying about tipping the greek band we are having since they get all the money on the floor ..

They are a seperate band from the 8 pieces I'm having.
