I tipped at my second fitting (after most of the work was done). I never saw my seamstress when I picked up my dress.

I tipped $25. Alterations were included on my dress and she was very sweet.

I was wondering about this too... I paid her in full already but she is storing and then pressing the dress and veil. Also I love this lady!!!! I was thinking $30 which is 20%... Does that sound ok?

I tipped $20 to my seamstress. I wasn't sure, so I just did it. -

Re: Tipping the Seamstress
So since I asked the question I thought it would be nice to answer it too. Last night was my final fitting and I have to say I am so very happy with everything. My seamstress (Nina at Macy's Manhasset) has been amazing. She came in to the room to help me put the dress on and showed me the beautiful job she did sewing in the monogramed swatch (my something blue) into the dress. She even put beautiful beading around it. It's so amazing! So I gave her a $50 tip. She really went above and beyond. Even had it pressed for my final fitting so I could get the full effect. I would highly recommend Nina!

I picked up my gown yesterday. I brought my seamstress flowers and a card.
