My wedding is Saturday and I was just wondering about tipping the maitre d....They are saying I should tip $4-$6pp I only have 83 people going and was going to tip $300, but FH said I should give them $250 because our wedding is 5 hours instead of 3...what do you guys think? And, for the bridal attendant I remember my first meetings they said $50-75 and yesterday someone else said $75-100...as of right now I have $50 in an envelope....I am so over all of these tips!!!
I think $300 is more than appropriate and $50 is fine too. I don't know what is considered standard but I have seen some ladies posting on here that their venue said $2-$4 per person.

I think $300 for the maître d and $100 for the bridal attendant. No matter how long your party is, the maître d does a lot more than you see. They set up all the little things (if you DIY center pieces, made your own menus, table numbers, etc.) they put out all the favors, set up the escort cards and anythingn on that table. Basically anything you drop off at the venue, they're responsible for. They're doing a lot more work than you see, no matter how long your party is.
Mine is Saturday also. I was told $3-$5 pm for maitre d and 75 for bridal attendant. We have about 90 guests and will most likely do the 300 and 100 for their tips. Congrats date twin!

Anyway, I'd go with the $300, that's still less than $4pp for the 83 people, but our venue said $3-$5pp so I think you're good with the $300.
