just wanna say that ive been speaking to a few non liw previous brides and in regards to tipping since they didnt see any of these lists that go around, they gave less for tipping. just saying that if they are, then other girls are too and that means that vendors dont necessarily expect as much as us liw girls are giving in all cases since it might not be the norm.

I thought they were high too, plus I feel like people are getting tipped that don't need to get tipped. For example, hair and make-up. I can understand if you're going to a salon and the hair stylist/make-up artist isn't getting the money in their pocket, but if you're using someone who owns their own business or who does it on the side, then they don't need a tip! All the money is going to them. Limo included tip in the price and my photographer owns her own business so she specifically says in her FAQ, no need to tip her! This makes me feel a whole lot better.
With that being said, if someone does an exceptional job and I'm really pleased and have the extra cash, then I will tip a little, for example, the limo driver.
The hairdresser/makeup person is still giving their time to come to you. A tip is a thank you. If you like what they did or even if they are coming far and/or early, its a nice token to tip. Regardless of whether its going right in their pocket or not.. It shows you appreciate them coming to you and taking the time out. Throwing someone an extra 10, 15, or even 20 is very nice.
