Re: Tis' the Season.........ALREADY!!!!!
I swear soon it will be out before Labor Day. It is RIDICULOUS. I was at Barnes & Noble and they have their Christmas cards out and holiday gift ideas.
We did half our christmas shopping already and are working on plans for our tree trimming party

I saw Christmas stuff out in the drugstores in September. SEPTEMBER. It disgusts me.

Re: Tis' the Season.........ALREADY!!!!!
I remember when I was young, they would start putting up the Christmas decorations the night of Thanksgiving....I can remember seeing the store-owners in the windows of our town (maybe it was just my small town tradition or something) LATE at night - like midnight decorating. It was neat. And seemed far more appropriate.
I hate this rush to the holidays - it's super stressful.

Jenn I'm with you. It takes away from the holiday season when they start putting things out this early. I refuse to shop until after Thansgiving. I love being in the stores listening to the Christmas carols. Yeah the lines are awful, but to me it's worth it.
I saw Chirstmas ornaments out in August That's way too early.

I agree, it's too much. first off, who is decorating for X-mas in september? and everyone knows the items go on sale a few weeks later, why buy it now? I think i'd buy more halloween & turkey day stuff if I wasn't constantly pushed to take it down and decorate with the winter stuff.
