It's sort of manly looking - I guess good for the men...

do you know if they are expensive? cuz if they are, not being able to resize is definitely an issue. if they aren't too pricey, then i suppose if could get a new one if he gains weight.

my DH has one... he loves it. looks manly/different, and its the strongest metal and since he sometimes has to work in the shop for his job ( mechanical engineer), its really good.
like somebody else said though, they can't be resized at all because the metal is so strong, which could be a problem if he gains or looses a lot of weight.
BUT- it was relatively cheap... his was about $200 from littmen jewelers in the mall, so its not too bad....

I am not sure about this one but I thought it is really hard to cut so if someone is in an accident and needs to get it off, it is not easy to cut.

yep, that's why I'd be hesitant to get one - it's pretty damn difficult to cut through, and while you never plan on that, you never know. I'd especially be careful with that if you or your FH works around heavy machinery at all.

I believe it's relatively expensive, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure it's more expensive than gold, but I'm not sure if it's more or less expensive than platinum.

it also can't be resized, I don't think.

ok, the titanium rings cant be cut through.....that is why on ALL titanium rings there is a sliver of white gold/plat so god forbid there is an accident they will be able to get it off.

i would look around...b/c FH (paid 350isg) for his titanium band) and b/c it can never be resized, the company will replace the ring for its lifetime if FH changes sizes or anything ever happens to it!!!

my FH LOOVES his....its personal pref, but i would have your FH look into it, go ask some questions at some jewelers and that will help you guys out!

we are looking into titanium bands - FH wants one. I have talked to different people and done some research. In case of an emergency they can be cut, they rarely loose shape, even in an accident. They are inexpensive (i found a site that sells plain ones for about $49). The problem is they can't be resized which is the only reason I'm hesiatant about ordering one for myself since my finger goes from a 4 3/4 to 4.5 depending on my body tempature.

Please let me know what you decide! or any info you find!
