Re: TLC's perfect dress
When I first started looking for dresses- they handed me a sheet at the salon asking me if I was interested.. The brides who participated really did not get anything- if I would have gotten my dress for free- I would have done it!
They were offering a photog package from a photographer I never heard of.. not worth it to have a camera follow me around.

It's funny--I was supposed to be on that show! They were calling it 'Quest for the Dress.' The weekend before we were set to shoot though, they wanted to have almost like an audition tape (which is weird because I'd been talking to them for weeks and it was the first time the PA had mentioned it to me). Anyway, I was in Napa and couldn't do it. Since their production schedule was so tight, they couldn't fit me in. Oh well--it would've been nice, but like you said, it's not like we were getting anything but a free photo shoot with the dress.

What happens if the first dress you try on is 'The Dress'?

Also she is ordering the dress a few weeks b4 her wedding...
They didn't even show if her fiance liked the red dress
