TMI, but I have to toot my own horn!

I don't know how I did it, but I managed to plan my period + wedding/honeymoon perfectly, that I had to share!

I just got my period (UGH, I feel like CRAP!) BUT, this means that I will be period free starting from a week before the wedding, until one day AFTER we get back from our honeymoon.

I got aunt flo early last month so I'm hoping I get it early again this month which means I'll get it the week of my wedding and not the first friggin day of the honeymoon

Instead of drinking my sugar pills I drank my Active package...

Depending which one your on & if it's strong enough to do so.. Instead of taking the sugar pill the week you would get your period just continue to take the active pills to skip it & then you can take the sugar pill when you want your period for that week so it works out that it doesn't come when your wedding does. My DR told me not to do this repeatedly though but occasionally is okay.

Is it like Nuvaring or something.. Maybe talk to your DR to see what you can do? But before you do have you counted out the weeks/days till your wedding to see if you'll have it then or not?

Is there a way you can take the shot at a different time.. or do you have to stick to a schedule with it?

I took a calandar and counted the weeks to see when I would have it around the wedding/hm & then stopped taking it for 2 weeks so I would make sure it wouldn't be on it for wedding/hm. I did it about 6 months before the wedding so I should be back in sync with the pills when sept rolls around :)

Have you considered skipping? after 3 weeks, just start a new pack... your doctor can write your prescription that way and it's completely safe. You may spot the first month but by the second month it will be fine
