Did you experience a lot of spotting when you first started taking it? And I mean like daily nonstop spotting, and it's not even time for the period yet...
I have my gyno appt tomorrow but wanted to see if other people experienced it. I also get cramp like symptoms randomly. What a pain up the a**!!!

Yes..it's the reason why I stopped taking them. I didn't get any cramping. They told me that my body was just getting use to it and that the spotting would stop in about 2 months or so but it never did. They also said that maybe they are too strong for me.

I spotted heavily for like 3 weeks straight, then it would stop then start again. I also became very depressed. It became more of a nuisance so I just went off it, but I also hear people have different experiences. Give it a chance, maybe your situation will improve.

yes and i HATED Loestrin!!!!!!!!!!!!! i switched back to Yasmin as fast as i could!

I'm definately not a fan of spotting. I feel like I've had my period for the last week and it hasn't even come yet!!! ***.

when I first started loestrin I have my period for 24 days straight. The next month was like 11 days and the third month 7 after that it went down to 3 and I was good for years but I had to come off it because it was affecting my harmones after 5 years

omg what nightmares! i had no troubles with it. the only thing i notice is if i dont take it at around the same time each day i do have spotting the next day.

I get VERY light spotting once in a while, but nothing to complain about.....I rarely get my friend though....maybe once every 3 month, and thats super light for 3 days.......gyno said it was completly fine...

I don't have spotting or cramping... my very light period lasts a day to two, and sometimes it skips a month...my gyno told me this was normal and what it was supposed to do, but it kinda freaks me out i do love how light it is!

Crashing...Had to respond because I totally went through the same thing! It was terrible, I think I had my 'period' for like 3 weeks straight on Loestrin 24. I switched to Ortho Tricyclen Lo and it got better within a couple of months. I would definitely talk to your doctor and try to change it.
The only other thing is, ever since I started taking BC, I've found that I spot a lot when I'm really really stressed. Hope everything works out for you!
