Are you on birth control? You can just skip your placebo week and thus skip your period, and go straight to the next pack

So this really works?? I'm getting mine on the 2nd day of our honeymoon and want to try doing this. I'm like nervous about it, haha. I guess it's worth a shot, right??

Yes it REALLY works!!! I've done it in the past when I was going on a trip and wanted to skip it.

I have done it in the past. My doctor told me that it was fine.

Re: TMI question!

If your not on bc you can take it just for one cycle to prevent your period from coming.

it may or may not....when i first started on BC I actually got my period TWICE in the time I should have gotten it once, so I'd say maybe not to start it super close to the wedding if you haven't already been on it

I'm in the same boat, but when I realized it for sure 3 months out I felt it was too late to start BC. You MIGHT have no problems with it and be able to use it to skip AF, but you might also take a few months to adjust and have bleeding in the middle of the month or end up with an unpredictable cycle. You could also get mood swings, headaches, etc.

I think it could be a great solution, but it's not one I personally was willing to try so close to the wedding. If I had made the decision with 6 months to go I would have.
