To all Lands End brides or guests - need held with cake

We live in Virginia and will be unable to sample the cake types before the wedding. What kind of cake and filling did you have? Was it yummy?

Sandy, I didn't pick out my cake flavors for our wedding yet, but we did have a cake from Audrey's (does baking for Land's End cakes) for our engagement. We had a chocolate filling with raspberry sort of sauce and it was great and bananas with cream that was also delightful. All their cakes are great!!

I am a Flowerfield bride an we have the same bakery. I have been going to Audrey's almost all of my life because we live in the same town. I am going to have raspberry (favorite), and canoli with chocolate chips. We have to pick 2 more flavors. I am not sure which ones yet. There cakes are sooo delicious! And there whipped cream and fondant are fabulous. Perfect. Now I am starving Good Luck!
