Hi! I am trying to plan a field trip for my class and all the options are either too expensive or they start at a bad time (we have to be back at school by 2)
Does any one have any suggestions for fun field trips (preferably in the 5 boroughs) that are not too expensive? Thanks!

The Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows park; there are always things going on at Alley Pond in Douglaston; if you are an upper grade, the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria (on Steinway); Children's Museum in Brooklyn; Queens or Brooklyn Botanical Gardens; there's always the plays they put on at Queensborough and Queens College

I agree! I love the Hall of Science. Another one that I love is the Bronx Zoo. If you teach in a New York City Public School you can go for free!
