What DJ will you be / are you using, and are you incorporating Latin music into your songs to play list??

Did they have the music you wanted or did you need to spply them with a CD of the songs you wanted played?

I was referred on here to a dj that is bilingual and specializes in latin weddings. Once I met them I booked them on the spot. You can check them out at Eleganica.com

Thanks :) I heard of elegancia but I wasnt sure if they were good or not, I didnt know anyone who had used them yet.

I'm using Starlight Express. My DJ is Latino but my MC is not. However, you can request a bilingual MC if you like. They'll play any kind of music you want. We have a special request for Marimba, traditional Guatemalan music, to be played during dinner and they're taking care of it. They'll also be playing a lot og Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, etc. in addition to Top 40, old standards, and 80's music. So we'll have a great mix.

We'll supply the Marimba, because it's not as popular, but they have everything else. I definitely recommend them.

I used Elegancia Entertainment. They were WONDERFUL. I got a GREAT party. Everyone told me how much they loved the music, and the dance floor was full the entire time.

I highly recommend that you meet with them.

We met with alot of the highly recommended latin DJ's and some were too full of themselves, some wouldn't budge on price, at another meeting the rep left because his girlfriend was waiting for him outside!!! (another person was asked to fill in for the rest of the meeting!), yet another raised the prices on us when we went back to book, etc.

Finding the right DJ was the BIGGEST pain in the butt for us!!!!

I'm using Latin Brothers Entertainment - talk to Jerry...they are great! I've also personally know them for a long time, but their work is very professional. hope this helps!
