ok.. i confess! i've been lurking for awhile my name is melissa, and i live in NJ. i'm not planning an LI wedding, but i came across this site by ' accident' and i love reading all of your advice and stuff! i just never wanted to post much because i'm not an LI bride but i finally came out of hiding today when i saw lolita4life's post about her mom moving to NJ and since i'm from the area she was talking about, i wanted to help her out!
just a short intro... my fiance and i are both 25, and we've been together for 4 years. he lives in morris county, nj and i live further south in burlington county, nj. we got engaged last january, and the wedding is gonna be june 25,2005. so far, i think i have everything under control with the planning... but we'll see how i feel when it gets even closer! LOL
anyway... just wanted to introduce myself since i officially came out of hiding today

I admit I was a lurker before I got engaged...I was helping out a friend who didn't have enough time to search for tips and ideas...I felt if I joined beofre I got engaged it was bad luck (did I mention I'm superstitious as well) I couldn't wait to join and start posting after we got engaged...I love this place...lol and now I can get tips and ideas for my own wedding...
