Unfortunately, we are not hiring right now but if you want I will keep you in mind if I hear any openings. I work in queens not sure if that is something you are interested in. Also would you be interested in doing leave replacements?

I work in Glendale, PS 91...like I said right now we don't have any openings but I will keep my ears and eyes open. Most of the times things don't open until the end of the year anyway. It's scary out there though. Last year 3 teachers were excessed from my school. Good luck and if I hear anything I will let you know.

I teach in queens as well, and I agree if you are having trouble finding a job, for sure get on the sub list, its easy for NYC just apply on the website. Once you get a few jobs give teachers your name so they will continue to use you. And while you are subbing let the principals know you are looking!

I feel your pain. I graduated in May and found nothing. This coming year doesn't look to good either.
Unfortunately everyone tells me to sub but I have kids and can't afford to do that.
