I dont know if this helps anyone, but my girlfriend set a date this week for her wedding in two months. I didnt know how she was going to do all this in two months. I wasnt a fan of Davids Bridal when I visited there during my gown search, but all the girls (5 of us) ordered our bridesmaid dresses today and they will be in in 6 weeks. I know it is cutting it close, but I thought it was great that even last minute brides still have options out there of getting last minute dresses and having their day the way they always wanted it.

I'm not planning my wedding last minute, but my cousin did last year. His FH found an opening in her medical school schedule so they figured this out and planned the wedding in 3 months. It turned out great and nobody would have ever known it was planned in such a 'short' period of time.

thank you. we are doing ours in a little over 4 months and now in the home stretch i am feeling like there are so many things i will nto get to do! BUT, it is nice to learn that others took even less time!!! We didn't use Davids Bridal, but Bridal Suite in Centereach worked with me and made sure everything would come in in time, and netbride.com also did the same thing for the BM dresses!! (although a rush fee applied for netbride!)
anyway, 21 days left. i will let you know if it actually worked out okay!

JoRo- I got all of my dresses for my wedding at Bridal Suite in Centereach. They were wonderful! I am sure it will all be fine. You are in good hands there. I tried to get my friend to go there, but she ended up going to Davids Bridal instead. What a difference in the service. Hopefully she will have no problems there. Good luck to you!

Cindy - did you use Debbie?? Debbie has been wonderful to me! and i got the feeling that they bent over backwards to get the manufacturers to get the dresses in on time (mine and MOHs) but they never made me feel guilty or even really tell me about it. they just keep saying, Don't worry it will be fine. and it has been. Our dresses arrived with plenty of time to spare and the alterations are already under way. Phew!! now, i just need to get my shoes dyed and my attire is all set! Thanks again!

JoRo, Yes, I did use Debbie!! She is wonderful!!!!!! She actually came on her vacation week off to the shop to be there for my last fitting. She even came to my wedding. My experiece there was great! So glad everything came in for you. Enjoy!!!!
