To Do list?

Re: To Do list?

I would definitely suggest you get on the photog and music. When we booked our band - this was at the end of June- they told us that they were already booked for Sat the 15th! - more than 2 years in advance! I was soooo happy we went with a Sunday. And I would say get the photographer early because pictures are important and right now you have a good choice of getting the photographer you want.

I think next on our list is to get limos - I am trying to get some pricing and to figure out if it is cheaper to do a shuttle van at the end of the night for us and our immediate families or to just use individual town cars for the ride home.

Also you could look around for favor ideas / colors / themes that you may be interested in to get an idea about how you want your flowers and girls dresses.

RH--I'm pretty sure which RH I'm going to book, so now I'm thinking about colors.

Photo/Video/Music--When I was planning for a 2010 wedding, I actually booked and made payments to the Wedding Plaza for a photo/video/dj package. So that's considered done in my book.

Dresses--Colors is a big thing right now so that I can do the BM dresses.

Limos--I know I'm going with Camelot limos, but I will worry about that probably early next year.

Flowers--going with Vito from Westchester florals (he used to work at Pedestals, and I love him)

Those are the things I'm working on now.

ETA: My OOT family are already asking about which hotel I'm going to use, so eventhough I can't block this early, I want to be able to give them an idea of where we will be staying. So I need to get on that as soon as I book the RH.

Some of my OOTs are planning their NY vacation around the wedding, so I guess that's why they're asking. Otherwise, they're crazy cuz it's way too early for me to even care!

That list be a whole lot shorter and less intimidating if 'shop', 'choose', 'purchase', and 'pick up' didn't all get separate lines! I guess there's still plenty left to do
