To Favor or Not To Favor?

Hi Ladies! I am planning on giving a donation to American Cancer Society as my favors. I wanted to also give mini wine bottles, but FH thinks it will be too much to do both. Do you girls think I should do just the donation OR donation and favor?

I'm doing just the donation but my mom hates the idea of people not walking away with something so we might do little baci candies (1 per guest or something), but nothing big.

You can do the favor and maybe a small little box filled with candies or something

We're just doing donations, but I think we're going to make the placecards out of sanddollars with a little ribbon attached so that is sort of a favor. Or maybe not.

I personally don't think it's a big deal, but it's up to you!

We went to a wedding that they gave a donation as the favor plus they gave us little boxes with hershey kisses in them. I thought that was nice

im donating to breast cancer, and im also giving them something to walk away with. just don't know what yet

you can do the donation and have personalized candy for your favor if you want it will be less than the mini wine bottles

we're donating to the american heart association and giving them some personalized M&M's in the charity's colors, but if you have the money to do both i say go for it

I think you can just do the donation. If the favor isn't candy, no one really cares about it, IMO.

If you can afford it and really want to do it, then sure, go for it. However, I don't think it's necessary at all.

I went to a wedding last year that did a donation to the American Cancer Society. To walk away with, they gave out the yellow Livestrong bracelets.

i wanted to do a donation to north shore animal league..and i was thinking of getting little dog bone cookies and tying a ribbon around the cookies saying 'a donation was made blahblah...i havent decided yet

We are doing a donation and then giving something small like candy or a cupcake or petit fours.
