To Homestead website users - FYI

Just in case you didn't get the same email I did, they are going to start charging a fee to use their service. It's not clear what it will be yet but I know I did alot of work on my website as I'm sure you all have too so keep this in mind as you go forward. Depending on what it will cost, it may be less expensive to register a domain name of your own....I'm going to check it out myself.

No, I was not aware of this!

I am sooo mad! I just spent 2 weeks creating my site! Do you know when they`ll start charging a fee?

No, I was not aware of this!

if you email me at [email protected] I can forward you the email. It has a glut of information and they basically want you to reply and suggest what you think is a fair monthly price, etc. I don't think it specified a date yet.

I just read that email this morning--how much does that suck-- Elizabeth can you let me know what you find out about another site-- I think I will just upload to another free service--what a pain in the butt Laura

now the only thing I am worried about is space-- I have no idea what the maximum is but I know with my homestead site I have over 15 pages with loads of pics and i know that other free sites have maximum KB's or whatever they are called Laura
