to invite or not to invite - your opinion, please!
I am contemplating whether to invite a co-worker or not, and I would like your opinion...
I was going to limit my co-worker invites to those that work in my department...8 plus guest/spouse. However, there is a person not in my department that I can't decide to or not...

I would leave it at the ceremony if you are tight on space & budget and if she doesn't know anyone else. If you feel you would want to invite her to the reception, you can ask her (especially if the wedding commonalities have sparked a budding friendship)...that is what I am doing with a few people that I am unsure of. My fiance thinks not inviting people is an insult and sometimes it is but sometimes people may view it as a cost to them and even if they can't make it, may feel they need to send a gift.
I would not feel obligated to invite her. What I would do is when you return the veil and slip give her a small gift as a token of your appreciation.
