I just came across this story, and it was just such a great reminder why not to lose sight of the reason you're getting married in the first place

That made me tear up!

It saddens me to know this wonderful love story ended in death, but makes me happy to know they at least got the chance to have true love.

hits especially close to home for me, as my fiance underwent treatment for testicular cancer as well. thankfully, 4 years later, he's almost in the clear.

I never realized how rare or aggressive that form of testicular cancer that is.

My cousin was diagnosed with it shortly after his wedding - and there was a scary 2 years, but there was hope for him. - he's now raising 3 beautiful kids.
