so yesterday i went for my first fitting..it was fine..dress fit great
now im not one to really obsess about my weight..im never going to be a size 2.and thats ok..but for somereason i could not help but notice that i was not super skinny yesterday
so here is where it gets strange..i m not worried bout what fh thinks,i now he loves me for me
its other people...for some reason i could not help but think what other people would think of how i looked..like they couldnt bliee i didnt lose 25 lbs for my wedding
i know i sound nuts,but does anyone think this too?

I feel the same way! I know FH loves me and my body and I love me too, I just don't have the same feelings for my body!
I actually gained about 20 pounds after buying my dress, I've since lost 15 of it but I wish I would have lost 15 from the start.

Ok, first of all, I was just looking at your pics and you are not 'big', curvy yes, big no!!! You are beautiful! You totally don't have a thing to worry about! Even if you were 'big' who cares, the only people that would ever think or say anything along those lines are people that are either jealous of you or so insecure about themselves that they think and say these things to make themselves feel better! You will look gorgeous and FH will have no question in his mind who the most gorgeous woman in the room is and who he loves more than anyone in the world! Now go eat some cookies!!!!

I think all of us have doubts about our bodies whether we're big or small. I worry that people are going to see me in a wedding dress and say 'hmmm...she should have tried to lose those 15 lbs and oh yeah.....she's OLD - she can't wear a wedding dress!!'
You know what I say when I start thinking that way? 'EFF 'EM!'
I have been to dozens of weddings over the years and I have NEVER ONCE looked at a bride and thought, she should have lost weight. All I ever see, is a beautiful bride - which is exactly what you will be!

Oh I definitly did....I dont like a few things about my body and the weight I gained when I had my son. But I did lose weight before the wedding, I would have liked to lose more. I was worried till the moment I walked down that aisle and I didnt think about it once after that, I swear!
All you need to do is just feel great, feel beautiful and everyone will see that and think that too. You will look gorgeous, no matter how much you weigh. You are you...and all that really matters is FH loves you and thinks your beautiful
