I'm giving my BMs this necklace to wear on the Day-of... but if I was going to wear a necklace it was going to be a pearl necklace. Since this one is costume-y, the pearls are bigger than my real pearls...
1) Wouldn't it look weird if I was wearing SMALLER pearls than my BMs?
2) ...so i'm thinking I should wear NO necklace (bare neck) with beautiful hangy earings. Does anyone have a strong opinion about not wearing a necklace to the wedding? I don't want big earrings AND a necklace, ya know?
I love big earrings, so I say go with that and forget the necklace.

what does the top of your dress look like? i had alot of detail on the top of my dress and didnt want to wear a necklace with it bc thought it would be overkill. SO i did big earrings with a bracelet.
Ive noticed that most brides arent really wearing necklaces anymore

I think if you really want to wear the pearls than go for it. No one is going to notice.
I didnt wear a necklace. I chose to just wear hanging earrings because I thought it would take away from my dress

Totally agree - my very top of the dress is a slight sweetheart with lace scallop and i'd almost rather that stand out. I'm officially dropping the necklace and going for earrings instead!

I say no necklace and bigger earrings . I have some detail on the top of my dress and think it would be to much too. Going for bigger earrings, flower in my hear and maybe a bracelet.

I am not wearing a necklace because I have a halter top dress. I say if you really like the pearls then wear them.. No one will notice. If you choose not to wear a necklace, I think that would be fine too!

What does your dress look like? I think that is a big factor here...
the top of my dress has a lot of crystals and beading and a necklace would be too much so I'm wearing a chunky bracelet and fab earrings.

We're customizing the top of my dress, so for now, there's no pic but it's sweetheart with lace scalloping at the top, ivory satin, then starting at the top of the ribs to my hip bone it's lace with a thin ribbon around my waist, then the whole skirt is ivory satin with a thicker lace scallop on the bottom. :)
I'll post a pic after the initial fitting!
Where should I get chandelier earrings? I am definitely going to do this instead of the necklace.
