To past brides...how many people said no?

I had another post similar to this one but wanted to get an idea from past brides...

Would you mind sharing how many people you invited and how many people actually came?

For my engagement party we originally invited 120, 2 ppl said no and then we ended up with 137 in total....Italians...lol!

We had somewhere between 23-25% say no (plus a hand full of no-shows). We had our wedding on Labor Day weekend, but I don't think the holiday stopped too many people. Most of our 'no' RSVP's were kinda expected (jerkey friends and extended family members).

We had a 32% no rate...
Invited 177 and we had 120 there... (But since DH and I really wanted a smaller wedding, I was very glad for the no's!!)

we invited about 215. We had 160 come.

My first wedding I invited 275 and only 200 showed up.

20% is usually the drop off rate - I am banking on that number

You just solidified all my fears ... My side of the family can't get any more Italian!!

I invited 176.

I ended up with 135 guests.


I have your invite number ... I would freak out a lot less if I had your results!
