to people who know alot about disney world..
i've been there a bunch of times (my sister has a timeshare) and i know that there are ticket booths like EVERYWHERE in orlando. Does anyone on here know of a good website though that I can buy park tickets off of?We are going to be in Tampa at my FMIL and FFIL's house and plan to just drive to orlando really early one morning and go straight to a park at opening.. so we won't have time to drive around and check out prices anywhere really.. If i could order tickets online that would be awesome- but a 2-day base ticket is over $200 each on the disney website!

I would be very careful buying discount Disney tickets online. More often than not it's a scam because Disney tickets are rarely discounted by very much. The best and most reputable website for buying slightly discounted tickets is Undercover Tourist. They are recommended by many Disney blogs and forums. Mousesavers also might have some money saving tips and tricks for you.

I second mousesavers.com. They are usually very reliable. If you want to stay off property check out the hotel's near Downtown Disney. I think mouse savers also has a list of the best hotels near this area.

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. It was AMAZING! So clean and so affordable! We stayed in a suite and it cost us what a value hotel on disney would have and it was gorgeous. Def check it out. And I wouldn't buy park tickets anywhere else. That's the one place you really can't save money on a disney trip. Have fun! I can't wait to go back in June!

I don't know if you ever used ebates but you can get some cash back if you go through them. Here the link:Ebates
Once you sign up go to the travel and vacation section and click either Orbitz or CheapTickets. If you go through Orbitz your get 4% cash back and if you go through CheapTickets you get 6.88% cash back. I called Disney and this is a legit way of saving money. I' m going to Disney for my bachelorette party and planning on buying my tickets this way.

Also check out Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It's actually on Disney property but not associated with Disney so you don't get the extra perks.

FH and I opened Disney credit cards recently and when you open the regular card, you get a $50 gift card to use anywhere (disney.com, park tickets, anything in the parks, resorts) and if you open the one with the annual fee you get a $100 gift card. When we opened ours, the gift cards offered were more ($100 and $150) so I opened one and FH opened the other and now we have $250 to spend in the parks! =) Plus as you spend money, you accrue points that you can get gift cards for!Welcome New Vendors
