We're going to sandals in The Bahamas in July. I hope it will be nice. I dont think paying the 9000 for a great room is going to make a difference. The most important thing is you and your new husband being together and relaxing on the beautiful beaches/pool etc. I'd regret paying so much just for a room to sleep in.
Just my honest opinion....I have been to numerous Sandals and have not had a great experience at all. I found the food to be blah, the rooms were outdated and I just did not have a good time. We have since started staying at the RIU resorts which are similiarly priced and in my opinion....much better quality.
