I asked the lady in bridal reflections if my veil came in finger length and she said 'How tall are you?' and I said 5'4, and she said 'It does come in that length, but your to short for it.' Anyone ever hear that?

Thats weird - I'm only 5'3 and ordered my veil & it came in no one said that to me -
mine is finger tip - its perfect ...
..when no one is home i put it on my head and dance around in it ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh ...my mom would kill me if she knew!

That's dumb. You can have any length veil you want. I guess you need to be 16 feet tall to wear a cathedral length veil then.

YES I HAVE , BUT YOU CAN STILL GET IT, THEY CANNOT TELL YOU NOT TO... IM 5'3 THEY ARE JUST TRYNG TOMAKE YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL THAT DAY, AND DONT WANT THE VEIL TO LOOK BAD ON YOU AND YOU TO BE UPSET
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY, DONT TELL THEM WHAT WAS SAID THOUGH, THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR TUNE TO GET YOU TO BUY IT THERE

I can see that for a dress but not for a veil. A fingertip length veil would not fall the same for a person who is 5'3' and a person who is 5'8' but it would not be that much of a difference to say that it wouldn't look right.

I'm 5'3' also and got a fingertip length veil as well.
Sure it falls around my butt, but who cares? I didn't like the look of the shorter veils!!!

sometimes if you wear a longer veil when you are 'petite' it makes you look shorter.
but you are 5 4' and will probably be wearing shoes so it shouldnt look bad.
